Mick Flynn Claret Jug

Last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, The Mick Flynn Claret Jug took place.

This was an 18 hole handicap matchplay knockout event. By late Wednesday evening only 2 players remained, Liam Buckley and Dessie Baker.

It was Glenidan man Liam who won the trophy, for a record 4th time, on the final hole.

It was a well fought, ground out win for Liam who also prevailed in his quarter final and semi final both on the final 18th hole as well.
