Heritage Week - Discover Lough Lene - POSTPONED

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been postponed due to the current government restrictions around Covid19. We will invite Ross back as soon as we can and would appreciate your support when the time comes. 

Collinstown Action Group, together with the Local Authority Waters Programme are delighted to welcome Ross Macklin, Aquatic Ecologist to Lough Lene.  Join us at The Cut, Lough Lene, Collinstown, Co. Westmeath on Saturday 22nd August at 12noon. Lough Lene Walk and Talk Event Information

Discover the natural heritage at Lough Lene. Ross Mackin, Aquatic Ecologist will guide us on a socially distanced walk around The Cut and Lough Lene exploring the life and species that live in the waters of our lake. This "walk and talk" is suitable for people of all ages.

Why not bring along a picnic to enjoy after the session with Ross.  Don't forget your swimsuit if you want to enjoy a dip, but please note, that as normal, there is no lifeguard on duty.
