Chess opportunity

Dear Parents,

Michael Crowe, Chess Professional and member of the International Chess Federation will be giving a Masterclass in Chess on Sunday, February 9th in Collinstown School from 11am for beginners and at 12.30 for kids who know how to play chess. An initiative of the local Community Games Committee, whose members will be there to supervise, will give an enormous boost to our local chess layers and also, we hope entice a whole new generation into playing Chess. All levels and ages welcome.

Sessions cost just €5pp to cover expenses and places are limited to 30 per session so booking in advance is essential.  The sessions are being opened up to neighbouring Community Games children also. 3 or more children from same family €15.  Practice sessions are ongoing currently on Wednesday evenings 6 - 7 pm in LLG GAA clubhouse for Collinstown/Fore Community Games participants.
