We want your pre loved Christmas Jumpers

Collinstown Parent Toddler and Baby Group want your preloved Christmas Jumpers. (Yes we know it's February but maybe they are in a bag ready to head out the door.)

One Small Change

Encouraged by Collinstown Tidy Towns and the Action Group's One Small Change Campaign we are currently exploring various clothes swapping ideas.  We have decided to focus on preloved Christmas Jumpers.  We will organise a sale of pre loved Christmas Jumpers close to the end of the year, so that people can buy pre loved novelty jumpers next year at a fraction of the cost of buying new, while supporting local groups. Obviously the details are yet to be ironed out, as this will not be happening until November, but we just want to get the word out now.   All proceeds from the sale of the jumpers will go to local community groups, including the toddler group.

How can you help?

So to anyone who is packing up Christmas jumpers that will be too small for children next year - or even adult ones that you are sick of looking at for the last number of years, please send them our way.  Babygros, t shirts, dresses, shirts and ties - any clothing once it is of the Christmas Novelty variety and in good condition will also be accepted. We know we are probably both a little late and far too early with this request but we only thought of the idea last week. Hopefully there are a lot of these jumpers in bags waiting to be moved on... We will be looking for them again in November, so don't worry if they are already packed away for the year.

Donations can be given to Mary Duffy or Tara Cooney or can be dropped into Parent, Toddler and Baby Group between 10.30 and 12.30 on Mondays in Collinstown Hall.
