Tidy Towns Results - 9 extra points for Collinstown

We are delighted to report that Collinstown Tidy Towns has received an increase of 9 points for 2019. 

We would like to thank everyone on the Tidy Towns committee, the Action Group, all the volunteers who have come out to help with clean ups, planting flowerbeds, cleaning benches and general clean ups.  Thank you to the CE workers who work hard maintaining grassy areas and for the hard work on the nature area at The Pound this year.  Tidy Towns is a community effort and well done to everyone in the community who keeps their front gardens and houses so well, who pick littler when out walking, and for countless other things everyone does to keep Collinstown looking well.  We would all like to remember and thank the late Marian Potter who did fantastic work for Tidy Towns for many years bringing flowers and plants to every corner of the village.  We wouldn't be where we are today without you Marian.

We are currently in the process of working with an advisor on a Tidy Towns plan for the next few years and are looking forward to working on implementing this plan in the coming years.
