Party Box for Hire - Choose to Reuse

St. Mary's N.S. Collinstown Parent's Association and Collinstown Tidy Towns are delighted to announce that we have a Party Box available to hire.  This is a box of hard plastic plates, cups and cutlery perfect for kids birthday parties.

Birthday parties can cause a lot of unnecessary waste as well as costing a lot of money and this is something that we would like to address.  The two groups have worked together to become members of Rainbow Rentals and to get our party box ready.  So far we have 30 cups courtesy of Collinstown Action Group, 22 plates, 6 small bowls, 12 knives, forks and spoons.

The idea behind this project is to encourage reuse of items that we already have as opposed to buying disposables.   If you have any party ware or decorations that are lying idle in your house, and that you would like to donate to this cause, please contact Mary Duffy 086 0867132.

There is a €5 charge to rent the box - all proceeds from the rental of the Party Box go to Collinstown N.S. Parent's Association.  There is also a fully refundable €10 deposit - this is just to ensure that the kit comes back clean and in full.

The next time you are holding a children's party, either at home, in Collinstown Hall or somewhere else please book our party box Reusing this party box can save you money and reduce waste and your €5 will go towards St. Mary's N.S. Parent's Association.
