Note from Lough Lene Gaels

Following on from our AGM we would like to sincerely thank Eamon Potter for his commitment and hard work in the role of Club Secretary for the past ten years. To fulfill the role for a year is no easy task but for 10 years is truly impressive. Eamon has done outstanding work in his role and worked tirelessly behind the scenes. On behalf of LLG we extend our deepest gratitude for all his club endeavours. We wish Eamon and his lovely young family all the best for the future.

The AGM also saw our former Chairperson, Joe Potter, hand over the reins to the ever capable Brendan Higgins. We congratulate Brendan on his new appointment as Club Chairperson and are assured the club is in safe hands. We wish to sincerely thank Joe for his continued support and unwavering loyalty to LLG. Joe has been instrumental in so many monumental events in LLG history to include the Oscars and pitch development to name but a couple. Thankfully Joe has agreed to continue with LLG in the role of Club Secretary and we congratulate him on his new appointment and are delighted for his continued support.
