Lots of Rocks
Have you seen painted rocks around the village? Wondering what they are all about?
There are Facebook groups Mullingar Rocks and Castlepollard Rocks encouraging people to paint rocks and hide them in Mullingar/Castlepollard and the surrounding area. If you want to get involved check out the facebook groups. If you are not on facebook the idea is simple, paint rocks, varnish them to seal in the paint and hide them when you are out walking. When you find a painted rock you can move it to a new hiding place. If you are hiding rocks in Collinstown or Fore as part of this and getting involved with posting in the Facebook groups maybe use #CollinstownForeRocks to make the posts easier to find.
