Lockdown Litter Picking
Collinstown Tidy Town have not been able to hold their regular Saturday morning clean up for the past few weeks. Instead we have purchased a few new litter pickers and our wonderful volunteers have started doing "Lockdown Litter Picking" in their local areas. We are covering areas in the village and on the approach roads - or anywhere in the local area that our our volunteers would like to tackle.
If you, or anyone in your household, would like to get involved, please contact Joe Potter 086 8176966 or Mary Duffy 086 0867132 and we can lend you a litter picker (and a hi vis if you don't have one) for a few days. This is a great way to volunteer in our community in a safe and socially distanced way while doing something great for the environment and getting some fresh air and exercise.
