Gavigan Cup

Pitch and Putt competitions look likely to get the greenlight from Monday the 29th of June.

The Gavigan Cup, currently held by Peter Dolan, is one of the most prestigious events in the club. It is a 36 hole knockout matchplay event and will be starting on Monday.

An open draw will be made to decide who plays who in the 1st round and the winner of each match will progress to the next round and so on until the final is played later in the year. The draw for the Gavigan Cup is taking place this Sunday. Players will have 2 weeks to play their match whenever suits them.

Any member or associate member interested in taking part must get in contact with competition secretary Ray Fay, or any committee member by Saturday night. Entry fee is €5 and membership must be paid before entering this competition.We have over 30 new members this summer and are still encouraging anyone interested to join.
