Collinstown's Men's Shed

Collinstown Men`s Shed is up and running.

The men meet every Tuesday morning at 10.00 for a couple of hours at the GAA Clubhouse. This is a temporary location while we look to find a place of our own. Three of us visited Kilbeggan Men’s Shed last week to see what was happening there and we were very impressed. Kilbeggan is up and running for a few years though, and our men know they have to walk before they can run.

The main thing at the moment is to get other men in the locality to come in for a chat and a cup of tea so that we can talk about things and get the Shed going.

We’re finding out the interests that different people have, from chatting about local events to gardening.  Anything goes here and we’re looking for ideas on what activities we can get our men involved in.
