Collinstown Fore Parish update on Covid 19

In light of this morning’s announcement by the government the following decisions have been made in our Parish...

All weekend and weekday Masses have been suspended until 29 March.

All other parish gatherings -

• Confirmation ritual Masses,

• 1st Holy Communion workshops,

• Sunday evening youth groups,

• Sunday Evening prayer,

• Thursday evening devotions,

• parish pastorate,

• adult catechism group,

• adoration,

• parish meetings

- have all been cancelled.

The Confirmation ceremony has also been postponed. A decision will be made on 1st Holy Communion ceremonies in the coming weeks.

Funerals will continue to take place and Fr Patrick and the Undertaker will liaise with families and seek advice from HSE.

Baptisms are postponed except for emergencies.

Both churches will remain open for private prayer.

Fr Patrick will celebrate Mass in private each day. Anniversary Masses which have been booked will be remembered at these Masses as well as the intentions of everyone in the community.

Be kind and support each other, and look out for weaker members in the community.
