Collinstown Bingo
For over 40 years now, every Tuesday night,
The bingo players come with winnings in their sight,
Picking up their sheets and their books both large or small,
Then sitting back into their seats to play in Collinstown hall.
First the bonus ball is called, a number tween 90 and 1,
Check your tickets folks, the bingo has begun,
Start off playing one line then your on to two,
Finally playing for a panel, eyes down it could be you.
Waiting to play the jackpot sheet,
Played after game 5, halfway through,
Hoping you'll be the one to shout check,
So the big money goes home with you.
After game 9 its the gambler sheet,
What you may win - nobody will know,
Fingers crossed that when you check,
It's on a number close to the nine 0.
Through the night there's free books given out,
To the person on the left or the right,
If your sitting beside a winner,
Your books sorted for next Tuesday night.
So come on down to Collinstown hall,
Tuesday nights @ half eight on the dot,
To continue this time old tradition,
Perhaps even bring home the jackpot.
