Collinstown Age Friendly Benches
"Sit awhile and enjoy the world"
Collinstown has two new Age Friendly benches, one at the mural and one on the lake road before the graveyard. Collinstown Action Group organised these benches which were made by Mullingar Mens Shed and sponsored by the Westmeath Co community facilities grant.
We hope that the benches will provide a nice spot to rest, a spot to chat, to read or to enjoy a coffee or ice-cream. These benches will hopefully be used by people of all ages, residents and visitors alike and we hope they add a nice feature to our lovely village.
Collinstown Action Group aim to work with everyone in the village to make Collinstown Westmeath's first Age Friendly village and these benches are part of the measures we will be putting in place to achieve this.
