Celebrating Biodiversity in Collinstown

Collinstown Tidy Towns, together with Ecologist Heather Bothwell, will be hosting an evening celebrating biodiversity in the village and the surrounding area. Heather will be presenting results from a survey that has been carried out in the village since Spring this year as part of the Community Foundation Grant that was awarded to the Tidy Town group in February 2022. All are most welcome to come along to discuss what is biodiversity & why is it important, learn about previous and current biodiversity projects by groups in the village, share thoughts and ideas about future initiatives, or just how to encourage biodiversity in your own garden or land.

We will have a cup of tea and some locally produced treats also- a chance to catch up with neighbours, meet new ones – maybe get involved with Collinstown Tidy Towns group!
